[Frieze Seoul] The Find Seoul

선화랑은 8월 31일부터 9월 10일까지 열리는 영국 작가 라이언 갠더 (Ryan Gander)의 참여하는 도시 전역 공공미술 프로젝트 《더 파인드 서울》에 함께합니다. 영국 맨체스터, 스페인 카세레스, 일본 오카야마에 이어 한국에서 처음 진행되는 이번 프로젝트에서는 특별 제작된 코인이 삼청, 을지로, 한남, 청담, 코엑스 등 서울 곳곳에 숨겨집니다. Frieze Seoul 2026의 라이브 프로그램으로 진행되는 《더 파인드 서울》은 서울 도심 곳곳에 놓인 코인을 직접 발견하는 과정을 통해, 익숙한 일상과 주변을 새로운 시선으로 바라보도록 합니다. 라이언 갠더의 작품을 서울 도심에서 발견해 보세요.

 

SunGallery is pleased to participate in The Find Seoul, a citywide public art project featuring British artist Ryan Gander, taking place from August 31 to September 10. Following previous editions in Manchester, UK, Cáceres, Spain, and Okayama, Japan, the project comes to Korea for the first time. Specially produced coins will be hidden throughout Seoul, including Samcheong-dong, Euljiro, Hannam-dong, Cheongdam-dong, and COEX. Presented as part of the Frieze Seoul 2026 Live Program, The Find Seoul invites participants to discover coins hidden across the city, offering a new way to encounter familiar places and everyday surroundings through the act of searching and discovery. Discover the work of internationally acclaimed artist Ryan Gander throughout the streets of Seoul.
